Michael Douglas Nealy arrested for fatal Oxon Hill stabbing
OXON HILL, Md. (AP) - Authorities say an Alexandria man has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old in Prince George's County.
Police say 35-year-old Michael Douglas Nealy was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Jakari Butler in Oxon Hill. Authorities say Butler was stabbed in an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Marcy Avenue about 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, a Prince George's County police spokesman, said he did not know what Nealy's alleged motive was or what relationship, if any, he had with Butler.
On Saturday, a woman was shot to death in her apartment on the same block.
The killings pushed the county's homicide total for the year past its tally for all of 2010.
