Missing Wis. man headed to Delaware found dead in Md.
LITTLE ORLEANS, Md. (AP) - Authorities say a Wisconsin man who went missing more than a week ago has been found dead in western Maryland's Green Ridge State Forest.
Maryland Natural Resources Police said Monday that 75-year-old James Wilson of Lake Geneva, Wis., apparently died from exposure to the elements after leaving his minivan stuck in the woods near the Potomac River town of Little Orleans.
Sgt. Art Windemuth says a search team found Wilson's body in a steep ravine about three-quarters of a mile from his disabled vehicle.
Authorities say Wilson left his home Nov. 11 but failed to reach his destination in Delaware the next day. He was reported missing to Lake Geneva police Nov. 17.
Authorities say Wilson may have become confused and disoriented.
