WASHINGTON (AP) - The ice rink in the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden is reopening for another season of skating on the National Mall.
The museum says the ice rink opens Friday, weather permitting. It will remain open through early March. It's located near the National Archives.
The museum says more than 500,000 people have used the skating rink since 2000. The sculpture garden opened in 1999 and is the home for 17 works of modern and contemporary sculpture.
The rink is open Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, it's open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. And on Sundays, the rink is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for seniors, children and students. Skate rentals are $3.
