Northeast D.C. shooting victim dies

D.C. Police are investigating the Wednesday morning shooting death of a man near the Prince George's County border.
Police say they responded to a call in the 4500 block of Quarles Street Northeast at about 8:25 a.m. to find a man inside an apartment building with several gunshot wounds.
The victim, identified as 26-year-old Marcus Parham of Northeast D.C., was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
