Police arrest 4 more suspects in Halloween-candy armed robbery
Police have arrested all four of the remaining suspects in the Halloween-candy armed robbery in Dale City.
Andre Maurice Diggs, 19, is the only one arrested who is not considered a juvenile. The other three were 16, 17, and 17. All five of the suspects are Woodbridge residents.
Prince William County Police arrested a 17-year-old boy in Dale City just before 9 p.m. Monday on charges that he, along with four others, assaulted two other teenagers, aged 15 and 17, after they refused to give up their candy in the area of Redwing Drive and Starling Court.
One of the suspects allegedly implied that he had a gun while demanding the sweets. When the victims refused, they were assaulted.
All five have been charged with robbery and assault by mob, police say.
