Police arrest alleged Girl Scout thief
November 10, 2011 - 04:09 pm
Police arrested a juvenile and charged the suspect with stealing from a Girl Scout troop.
On October 28, a Girl Scout troop was selling cookies in front of a Wal-Mart located at 3300 Crain Highway.
A man approached and asked about the price of the cookies. He then grabbed the cash box and fled on foot.
A witness chased the man toward the rear of the Wal-Mart until a second man said he would catch the first.
Believing the second man was a Good Samaritan, the witness stopped chasing the man.
