Police officers injured in car crash

Three people were injured when a police car crashed into a tree and two civilian cars not far from the 4th District police headquarters Friday evening.
Two D.C. police officers were injured in the accident in the 5800 block of Georgia Avenue Northwest and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A man who was traveling in another car was also injured and taken to a hospital.
