Police search for suspect in NW sex assault
A woman was sexually assaulted in Northwest and police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect.
The victim told police she was walking in the 100 block of Hamilton Street, NW, when she was approached by a male subject who pulled her into the alley and sexually assaulted her, police said in a news release.
The assault took place before 2 a.m. on Tuesday. The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, 20-25 years of age, with thin build. He was last seen wearing dark colored pants and a red and black North Face style jacket.
