Rex Grossman starting against MIami Dolphins
November 13, 2011 - 12:47 pm
In their latest attempt to revitalize a slumbering offense in the midst of a four-game losing streak, the Washington Redskins are going back to Rex Grossman as their starting quarterback.
Grossman will be under center this afternoon when the Redskins take on the Miami Dolphins, sources told Redskins.com late Sunday morning.
He replaces John Beck, who has started the last three games for Washington, including last week's 19-11 loss to San Francisco. Beck has thrown just two touchdown passes this season versus four interceptions.
In five starts this season, Grossman as completed just under 56 percent of his passes for 1,132 yards, six touchdowns and nine interceptions.
