November 2, 2011 - 08:53 am
D.C. Police are searching for the suspect in the robbery of a business on Halloween in Northeast D.C. near the Prince George's County line.
Police say that the lone gunman entered an establishment in the 2300 block of Rhode Island Avenue NE just before 4 p.m. on Monday. He brandished a weapon and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as an 18-25-year-old black male, 5-foot-5 and 150-160 pounds with a thin build and light complexion. He also has brown dreadlocks and facial hair, authorities say.
At the time of the robbery, police say he was wearing dark-rimmed lasses, a black top and blue pants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact D.C. Police. A $10,000 reward is being offered.
