Springfield BB&T Bank robbery suspect on the loose

Fairfax County Police are searching for the man they say robbed a BB&T Bank in Springfield on Monday afternoon.
Officials say that the robbery occurred at about 3 p.m. at the bank branch in the 8900 block of Village Shops Drive. The robbery suspect implied a weapon and made off with an unspecified amount of cash.
Police describe the suspect as a 6 feet tall with sandy blonde hair. Surveillance video caught the man on camera wearing a green jacket, a brownish-green t-shirt and dark pants.
