Subway $2 sandwiches coming in December

$5 footlong? Try lower.
Subway, one of the largest sandwich shop chains in the United States, says that they'll start offering certain six-inch subs for $2 as part of a December promotion, USA Today reports.
"It's a magical price point," consumer psychologist Kit Yarrow told the newspaper.
Only the company's meatball sub and cold-cut sandwiches will be available at the new price.
Subway is not new to the $2 game. In 2011, Taco Bell, Chipotle and KFC also dabbled in offering meals for the meager price.
