November 4, 2011 - 07:44 am
The intersection of Suitland Parkway and Firth Stirling Avenue SE has reopened after being blocked by an accident, DDOT says.
The intersection had been blocked completely by an earlier crash, forcing drivers to seek alternate routes in the area just south of the Frederick Douglass Bridge.
Inbound traffic from Suitland Parkway had been diverted onto I-295.
