Suspect tries to grab girl, 14, in Mount Vernon

An unknown suspect tried to grab a 14-year-old girl while she was walking to school in Mount Vernon, police said.
Police said the incident occurred at about 7 a.m. on Oct. 28. The girl was walking to school near the intersection of Quisenberry Drive and Kings Hill Court when the man driving an older model 4-door vehicle offered the girl a ride to school.
The girl refused and the suspect tried to grab her, police said.
