The girl, a student of Severna Park High School, was on White Oak Drive near Cedar Road at about 9:30 a.m. when the suspect tried to grab her through a vehicle’s window, police said.
The girl broke free and reported the incident to school officials.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic or White male in his 40's with a dark complexion, medium build and short, dark hair. The vehicle was described as a dark green, older model, two door pick-up truck with tinted windows.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Dave Wood or Sergeant Tim Davis with the Criminal Investigation Division at 410-222-3466 or 410-222-3470.
