Suspicious package found in Crystal City

Buildings in Crystal City were evacuated Wednesday afternoon after a suspicious package was discovered.

Arlington County Police Spokesperson Detective Crystal Nosal says the package was delivered in the mail. The building it was delivered to has been evacuated and the two adjacent buildings are under voluntary evacuations.

The buildings are along Crystal Drive between 15th to 12th Streets northbound and 12th Street from Rt]oute 1 eastbound.

The suspicious package was found in the 200 block of 12th Street South in Crystal City.

Crews on scene investigating.
