Temple Hills accident kills moped driver

The rider of a moped was killed Thursday morning in an accident in Temple Hills, police say.

Prince George's County Police have shut down a section of Temple Hill Road while the investigation continues.

Authorities say the accident occurred at about 6:40 a.m. in the 7300 block of Temple Hill Road. The driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene, police say.

The investigation is ongoing.
