November 11, 2011 - 04:37 am
Four stations along the Green Line will be closed through the long Veterans Day weekend to accommodate major track work.
WMATA says that the Waterfront, Navy Yard, Anacostia and Congress Heights stations will be closed through the system's closing on Sunday.
Shuttle buses will replace trains between L'Enfant Plaza and Southern Avenue. Yellow Line trains will also run between Huntington and Greenbelt all weekend.
On the Red Line, the Shady Grove and Rockville stations will also close briefly on Saturday night. The two stations will close at 11 p.m. Saturday night and reopen at 7 a.m. Sunday.
Metro will run its typical Saturday schedule on Veterans Day.
