Woman gives birth in BWI restroom

LINTHICUM, Md. (AP) - Officials say a woman gave birth to a healthy baby boy in a restroom at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport shortly after getting off her flight.
BWI spokesman Jonathan Dean says an officer helped the woman deliver the child Sunday afternoon on the floor of a restroom in Concourse D. Dean says Maryland Transpiration Authority Police and the airport's fire and rescue department responded to a call of a woman in labor about 2:20 p.m.
The woman and baby were taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
The woman's name was not released.
