11 protesters arrested outside White House
December 20, 2011 - 05:34 am
Nearly a dozen Occupy protesters were arrested outside the White House late Monday night, police say.
The protesters had gathered to demand that President Barack Obama veto the Defense Authorization Act, which delegates money for the United States Military.
The bill was approved by Congress last week and is awaiting Obama's signature.
President Obama had previously threatened to veto the $662 billion defense spending bill.
