6 people, including 4 kids, injured in Carmody Hills-Pepper Mill Village crash

Six people, including four children, were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Carmody Hills-Pepper Mill Village, Md. Saturday.
Shortly after 7 p.m., emergency personnel from Seat Pleasant responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Seat Pleasant Drive and Joplin Street, according to a news release.
Two adults and four children were involved.
A man and a child were who were trapped in one of the vehicles had to be extricated. Both were taken with critical injuries to an area trauma center, the release said.
A woman was taken with life-threatening injuries to an area trauma center. Three children were taken with non-life threatening injuries to an area hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
