AAA concerned about 'silver tsunami' of older drivers
December 8, 2011 - 12:10 pm
There are new concerns about the number of older drivers on the road: AAA is calling it the "silver tsunami."
The number of drivers on the road aged 65 and older is estimated to be around 13 percent, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says they cause 16 percent of traffic fatalities.
Experts say you should be honest with yourself about your ability to drive as you age.
AAA is offering this test to see if you are still able to drive. Take it and see how you do.
