A two-year-old boy has been found alive and well, after a Christmas Eve search for him. An amber alert was issued after a suspect was seen running from a double murder scene and allegedly stealing an SUV with two-year-old Kaiden Burnside in the backseat. Police found the boy at about midnight, asleep in the vehicle, which was left at the side of the road in Richmond.

 Richmond Police Police tell the Richmond Times-Dispatch that a man and a woman were shot on N. 35th Street about 5 p.m. The fleeing suspect then stole an SUV, possibly unaware that the child was in the back seat. Police say the SUV was left on the street with its motor running.

Authorities have identified the suspect as 27-year-old Jamal Louis Clemons. Investigators say Clemons is wanted for abduction, robbery, robbery with a firearm and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony by a convicted felon. 

The suspect has been described as an unknown black, male, in his 20s, about 5’ 7” -5’10”, 160 pounds, and black hair with a full beard. He was wearing dark pants, black zip up sweat shirt with a hood.

Police tell the Times-Dispatch they were not aware of a motive in the murders, but believe the suspect knew the victims.
