The latest figurine was taken from the Nativity scene near the main entrance of the Southpoint II shopping center off Jefferson Davis Highway in Fredericksburg, the shopping center's developer says.

Police believe the baby Jesus was taken either late Friday night or early Saturday morning, the Free Lance-Star reports. Nothing else was taken from the scene.

It may have not been the only theft of the weekend, either. There have also been reports that another baby Jesus was taken from a Nativity scene near Trivett's Furniture off of Virginia State Route 3.

On Dec. 13, the baby Jesus figure at Central Park in Fredericksburg was taken. Three days later, a photo of the stolen Jesus was posted to Facebook. Police were then able to track it down and return it to its rightful owner.
