Baby Jesus stolen from Nativity scene
December 14, 2011 - 12:31 pm
Police in Fredericksburg are investigating a very scrooge-like theft.
Authorities say someone stole the baby Jesus figure from a Nativity Scene in Central Park, in the 1000 block Carl D. Silver Parkway.
A maintenance employee for Rappaport Companies discovered the theft.
Residents are hoping the thief gets a Christmas spirit and returns the stolen Baby Jesus.
“I think it's horrible - never mind the religious part,” says Meghan Borger a Fredericksburg Resident. “They should just leave it alone.”
The investigation is ongoing.
