RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The University of Richmond says a suspect is in custody following reports of gunfire on campus.
University spokesman Brian Eckert said Tuesday night that Connor O'Leary turned himself into police at the Henrico County jail. Students were alerted to the incident earlier in the day at the University Forest Apartments.
No one was injured as a result of the gunfire.
The university says an investigation will continue in conjunction with the Henrico County Police Department.
Just under 3,000 students are on the University of Richmond campus in the city's west end.
