Dulles Toll Road toll increase coming Jan. 1, more to come in 2012
December 8, 2011 - 06:02 am
As progress is made toward the completion of the Dulles Metrorail project, a portion of the money to pay for it will continue to come from Dulles Toll Road revenue.
Drivers who use the Northern Virginia road can expect to face toll increases every year for the foreseeable future, the Washington Examiner reports.
Tolls will increase by a quarter to $2.25 per trip on Jan.1, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says.
The Airports Authority will set incremental rate increases for future years in 2012.
