Elaine Coleman stabbed, killed in Kingman Park neighborhood

WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman in northeast Washington.
Police say 47-year-old Elaine Coleman was found unconscious just after midnight on Sunday inside her home in the 500 block of 23rd place, suffering from stab wounds.
Authorities at the scene determined there were no signs of life, and Coleman was pronounced dead by a member from the Chief Medical Examiner's Office.
Police on Sunday did not have a description of the suspect.
