A Virginia man remains behind bars on Wednesday morning, accused of abusing of his 2-month old daughter who later died.

Police say that Francis Reed, 21, is charged with abusing Amber Reed, who died on Saturday afternoon.

Amber's grandfather had very little to say when asked at the home on Parkwood Court in Falls Church about his granddaughter's death.

Police say that paramedics responded to the Falls Church home on Saturday afternoon to find Reed giving the child CPR. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died.

There were no weapons used in the suspicious death, but officials have not released an official cause for Amber's passing.

Her death is being considered the 10th homicide in Fairfax County in 2011. No one else has been charged in the case.
