Greenbelt sexual assault victim released from hospital, suspects sought

Police in Prince George's County are searching for up to four men who they say sexually assaulted a College Park woman on Saturday morning.

Greenbelt Patch reports that the woman was attacked as she walked along Cherrywood Lane near the Greenbelt Metro station.

The woman as pulled into a wooded area and assaulted in the early morning hours. She suffered serious injuries, but was treated and released from an area hospital, police say.

Greenbelt Police Capt. Thomas Kemp told Patch that the crime was "particularly disturbing."
