I-295 pothole repairs to be done Tuesday and Wednesday

Pothole repairs are coming to one of the region's busiest highways on Tuesday and Wednesday.

DDOT says that crews will fill and repair potholes along a stretch of northbound Interstate-295 within the District.

The work will stretch from East Capitol Street to Benning Road. Work will be done, weather permitting, between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Signs will be posted along the road to warn drivers of the work crews.
