The Washington Post reports that a candidate running for D.C. Council’s Ward 7 position was arrested for allegedly soliciting a prostitute.
Kevin B. Chavous, a Democrat, was arrested early Friday morning on K Street in NE.
"Kevin was clearly targeted and was not soliciting in any way," Chavous’ campaign manager, Lamont Harrell, told the Post.
