Many stores offering free shipping today

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - For folks who stayed home on Black Friday and spurned Cyber Monday, today's another chance to save some money on holiday gifts.
It's Free Shipping Day, and a spokeswoman for freeshippingday.com says more than 75 percent of the 2,500 stores participating on the site are offering free shipping with no minimum.
Kendal Perez says the promotion is really helpful for people buying smaller gifts that might cost as much to ship as to buy. Perez says participating merchants taking orders today guarantee the goods will be delivered in time for Christmas.
She says last year's promotion was the "third-heaviest online shopping event in history" with more than $942 million spent.
