Md. police seek man who was armed in hotel

LAUREL, Md. (AP) - Police in Anne Arundel County are searching for a man accused of holding a gun against a woman's head inside a Motel 6 in Laurel.

Police say a female employee reported that a man placed a gun to her head Saturday morning and tried to force her into a motel room.

The man then ran away when a witness tried to see what was going on.

Police searched the area but couldn't immediately find the suspect.

The investigation continues.
