Suspects are still being sought in the Tuesday night stabbing of a teenage girl outside a Silver Spring high school.

The incident occurred after a basketball game at Northwood High School on West University Boulevard, Montgomery County Police say.

Police say that the victim, a 17-year-old girl, had been attending a the game between Northwood and John F. Kennedy High School. After the game ended at about 9 p.m., the victim saw her friend in a fight with another girl and tried to intervene.
