Police officer allegedly assaulted at Occupy DC campsite

Police arrested two Occupy DC protesters Thursday at the McPherson Square campsite and charged them with assaulting a police officer, according to the Washington Examiner.
Police arrived to McPherson Square to investigate a report of a man assaulting a woman. When police arrived, they found several people who were allegedly disorderly.
Police shocked one suspect with a Taser while taking him into custody, the Examiner reports. Another suspect is accused of kicking a police officer in the groin.
