Redskins beat Giants 23-10

Looking like the team Coach Mike Shanahan sees in his best dreams, the Washington Redskins beat the the New York Giants, 23-10, Sunday afternoon.
And the Redskins gave their old friends, the Dallas Cowboys, a giant holiday gift: a one-game lead over the Giants in the NFC East division standings with two games to go.
Dallas beat Tampa Bay Saturday night, 31-15.
0:33 4th: Giants score their only touchdown of the game, cutting the Redskins lead to 23-10.

Redskins lead 17-3 at the half
After a field goal by the Giants with two seconds left in the half, the Redskins held a 17-3 lead at halftime.
The Redskins take on the NFC East-leading New York Giants today at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
The Redskins took an early lead in the first quarter with a 36-yard field goal from Gano, bringing the score to Redskins 3, Giants 0.
At the start of the second quarter, the Redskins were still ahead.
Next, a 20-yard touchdown pass to Moss earned the Redskins a 10 - 0 lead over the Giants.
With eight minutes left in the second quarter, Darrel Young made a six yard touchdown, bringing the score to 17 - 0, Redskins.
