ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Authorities plan to resume searching for a man who went missing after the sailboat he was aboard capsized in the Chesapeake Bay over the weekend.
Maryland Natural Resources Police will begin searching the area again on Monday for the 25-year-old man.
Two other people were pulled from the water after the accident Saturday afternoon off Sandy Point State Park near the Bay Bridge, including a 40-year-old man who later died at a hospital. A 25-year-old woman was being treated for hypothermia.
Sgt. Art Windemuth said all three boaters were wearing life jackets when the boat capsized.
The Coast Guard and state and local officials spent about 24 hours searching for the third victim before calling off a search Sunday afternoon.
