Daybreak Daily’s afternoon glance at the nearly deserted pop-culture world finds head-scratching comments from Sarah Palin, spies a new Tina Fey and offers other things, including two mystery music videos.

WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE?: Seems Sarah Palin has a problem with the picture on President Obama’s official holiday card, per the Los Angeles Times, “The card, which makes no direct mention of Christmas and doesn't feature a Christmas tree, states: "From our family to yours, may your holidays shine with the light of the season." Palin told Fox News that she found it "odd" that the card emphasizes the dog instead of traditions like "family, faith and freedom." She also said that Americans are able to appreciate "American foundational values illustrated and displayed on Christmas cards and on a Christmas tree." http://lat.ms/tNhKoa

MEANWHILE: Here’s a clip from the upcoming HBO film “Game Change,” with Julianne Moore playing the role of Palin during John McCain’s 2008 ill-fated run for the White House, per the Huffington Post. http://huff.to/rPewII

ADAM LAMBERT PACKS A PUNCH: The former American Idol was arrested and released following dust-up with his lover, Sauli Koskinen, at a bar in Helsinki, per People, “Koskinen then blogged about the incident, suggesting the pair had patched things up.” http://bit.ly/ttvoDw

OBIT: Per the AP, “Character actor and Hollywood dialect coach Robert Easton, whose successes include teaching Forest Whitaker to speak like Idi Amin in the 2006 movie "The Last King of Scotland," has died in Los Angeles. He was 81.” http://apne.ws/u3eBN2

ODD ARRANGEMENT: But hey, if it works for them, so be it, per Us Weekly, “Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman's days as a happily married couple are over, but the duo still plan to live together and raise their 7-year-old son, Roman.” http://bit.ly/tQr5dX

KARDASHIANS THREATEN LITIGATION: This is why shoddy journalism is just that, per PerezHilton, “The Kardashians are ready to throw down the legal gauntlet on Star magazine and the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights over those false slave labor claims.” http://bit.ly/t09Q94

TWO PRETTY GOOD ACTS: As such, per Rolling Stone, “The Allman Brothers Band and Diana Ross will lead the next class of Special Merit Awards recipients at the Grammys. The Allmans, Ross, Glen Campbell, country music great George Jones, Brazilian songwriter Antonio Carlos Jobim, the late soul poet Gil Scott-Heron and the Memphis Horns are all set to receive Lifetime Achievement Awards.” http://bit.ly/uRrRYA

THIS IS NEWS BECAUSE: Not sure, but here goes, per Access Hollywood, “At home with Ryan Reynolds isn’t a bad way to spend your holidays! According to multiple reports, Ryan took rumored new girlfriend Blake Lively to his hometown of Vancouver this week.” http://bit.ly/rzry5s

AND FINALLY: Today’s mystery music videos. Two for the price of one in honor of the holiday season (full-screen clicks recommended).
