Stafford sexual assault suspect on the loose

Police are searching for a man who tried to sexually assault a 22-year-old woman in Stafford.
Police said the incident occurred on Nov. 27 in the wooded area near Shasta Place in Stafford.
The victim and a friend were at the Porter Library in Stafford when she received a telephone call from a blocked number. The caller, who she didn’t know, asked to meet her.
Later, after the victim left a friend’s house, a man tried to sexually assault her. She fought off her attacker.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’0 – 6’2, in his thirties with short, tight hair twists and thick bushy eyebrows. The suspect also has scaring along his cheek (possible acne scars) with facial hair on the chin.
