Stephanie Schwab to remain behind bars
December 5, 2011 - 05:46 pm
The woman accused of going on a crime spree appeared in court Monday and will remain behind bars.
Stephanie Schwab waived the preliminary and the detention hearings. The court found probable cause for her arrest and ordered that she remain detained pending further court action.
Schwab is suspected of a Tysons Corner carjacking, two bank robberies and stealing a vehicle over the past 10 days.
She was taken into custody Wednesday in Maryland on Old Georgetown Road and I-495. When she was caught, she had been driving a Ford Escape with Pennsylvania tags which had been reported as stolen.
