Teen girl stabbed at Northwood High School in Silver Spring

A teen girl was stabbed by three other girls in front of a high school in Silver Spring Tuesday night, officials said.
About 9 p.m., Montgomery County Police responded to a stabbing in front of Northwood High School at University Blvd. in Silver Spring, police said.
Northwood High had been playing a basketball game against John H. Kennedy High School when three girls from Kennedy allegedly began fighting with another girl, police said.
The fight spilled into the parking lot where the girl was stabbed three times in the back, police said.
Her age and condition were not immediately available, but she is expected to survive.
No one was in custody and not other information was immediately known.
