Va. Tech students hold unofficial vigil for slain officer

Although a candlelight vigil originally planned for Thursday at 8 p.m. was postponed, an estimated 125 students showed up for the unofficial vigil.
It was held at the memorial for the victims of the 2007 Virginia Tech shootings.
Friday at 6:30 p.m. the official vigil will be held at the memorial.
