WeddingWire offers unlimited vacation time to employees
BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — A Maryland-based online wedding planning website is offering a perk to employees that seems too good to be true: unlimited time off.
The Washington Post reports that WeddingWire's director of human resources says that as long as employees do their job, there is no reason to limit the amount of vacation they can take.
The company, based in Bethesda, actually is trying to make sure employees don't think the generous policy is a trick to try to keep them from taking any time off at all.
As long as employees meet their job goals, they are encouraged to take time off.
WeddingWire offers a number of online wedding planning tools, including the ability to search, compare and book over 100,000 reviewed wedding vendors, from wedding venues to wedding photographers.
