William Korn pleads guilty to fraud

A former researcher for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement department pleaded guilty to a scheme to take more than $50,000 in government money.
William J. Korn, 53, pleaded guilty to a charge of conversion of government money. He faces up to a year in prison.
Authorities said he accepted per diem fees that he wasn’t entitled to.
