2012 Redskins schedule includes AFC North, NFC South
The Washington Redskins' 2011 season may have just ended Sunday, but the team already knows who they'll be playing in 2012.
The exact schedule for the 2012 season has not yet been released - nor will it be for several months - but their last place finish in the NFC East this season assured them of playing two other last-place teams, rounding out their 2012 slate.
In addition to playing their division rivals twice next year, the Redskins will also play every team from the NFC South and AFC North, along with fellow cellar dwellers Minnesota and St. Louis.
Here's how the 2012 season will round out for Washington:
Home games: New York Giants, Philadelphia, Dallas, Atlanta, Carolina, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Minnesota
Away games: New York Giants, Philadelphia, Dallas, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, St. Louis
The Redskins' 5-11 record means that they'll pick 6th in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Indianapolis Colts will select first, finishing the 2011 season at 2-14.
