Aeris Lashay Beard laid to rest Saturday

The 19-year-old woman who was killed in a murder-suicide last Sunday was laid to rest today.

Aeris Lashay Beard of Laurel was killed by Adam Clayton Owsley II, 21. Owsley then turned the gun on himself.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church at 73 Rhode Island Ave. NW.
Owsley will be laid to rest on Monday at the Takoma Park SDA Church.
