Suspicious package incident cleared, Arlington Cemetery Metro station, Memorial Drive re-opened

The suspicious package incident has now been cleared and Arlington Cemetery Metro station and Memorial Drive have now been reopened.
U.S. Park Police on Wednesday morning were investigating a suspicious package on Memorial Drive, which closed down the road as well as the Arlington Cemetery Metro station.
The package was located on the sidewalk on Memorial Avenue. Authorities closed Memorial Drive between the entrance to the cemetery and the circle.
The ramp from southbound George Washington Parkway to Memorial Drive was closed as well as ramp from northbound Route 110 to Memorial Drive.
