WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Congresswoman Michele Bachmann tells a small group of supporters that she's staying in the presidential race, saying she's the only true conservative who can beat President Barack Obama in November.
The Minnesota congresswoman is finishing last among the six candidates who contested Iowa. She told supporters Tuesday night that she is proud of those who ran her campaign.
Bachmann's state campaign chairman in Iowa, Brad Zaun, says that while he's disappointed with the caucus vote, it's time to move on.
Bachmann trails her rivals with just 5 percent of the vote and nearly all precincts reporting.
