Bloom stores in Virginia, Maryland converting to Food Lion; 7 to close
Seven Bloom stores in Northern Virginia and Maryland are closing their doors, while others will be converted into Food Lion grocery stores.
Bloom is part of the Food Lion grocery store chain and the stores opened a few years ago, hailed as an upscale food shopping outlet, offering gourmet food and in-store restaurants.
Delhaize America will retire the Bloom banner and convert 42 Bloom stores in Virginia and Maryland to Food Lion. The conversions will begin immediately.
The following seven underperforming Bloom stores will close:

Bloom @ 14055 Nobelwood Plaza Woodbridge VA 22193
